The cushions provide a buffer to protect the Titan Telescoping Flagpole from damage when a section is lowered too quickly. Our Titan Telescoping Flagpoles use the following cushions at each joint (from the ground up): 15' & 20'LT – 2.5"& 2.0" 20' & 25' – 3.0", 2.5", & 2.0"
